Terms of Service
Last updated November 2, 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and WEG Studio, LLC, which runs Onward Academy. They apply when you join the waitlist, reserve a seat, buy a seat or use the course. If you do not agree, do not use the course.
Who can join
You must be at least 18 years old. Give us your real name and an email address you can read.
A seat is for one person. Do not share your sign-in link, password or course access.
What you need
You need a Mac or Windows computer, plus a Claude Max plan and API credit. You buy the plan and the credit from Anthropic, not from us, and Anthropic's own terms apply to them.
Onward Academy is independent. It is not run by Anthropic.
You pay for any other service you choose to use while you build, such as hosting or API usage beyond your plan.
Payment, deposit and refunds
Prices are in US dollars and are shown on the payment page. Stripe processes every payment. If you pay with a financing option such as Klarna, that agreement is between you and the lender.
The $100 deposit that reserves a seat is not refundable. A seat you buy can be refunded within 7 days.
The refund terms at /refunds are part of these terms. If the two ever differ, the refund terms apply to refunds.
The course
The course page describes what a seat includes. We can change lessons, the schedule and who teaches, to keep the course current. If a change takes away something you paid for, we will tell you by email.
Your work
You own what you build and write in the course.
You let us store it, read it and use it to run the course and give you feedback, including with the AI tools described in our Privacy Policy. Classmates in your cohort can see the projects you submit. We will ask you before we show your work to anyone else.
Our material
The lessons, videos, recordings, prompts and other course material belong to us. You can use them for your own learning. Do not copy, resell, post or share them outside the course.
How to take part
Be respectful to other learners and to the instructors. In particular, do not:
- harass anyone, or share another learner's information or work without their permission
- try to get into accounts, data or systems that are not yours
- use the course or its tools to break the law
AI output
The course uses AI, and so will you. AI can be wrong. Check what it tells you, and test what you build before you rely on it. You are responsible for what you build, deploy and pay for.
No guarantees
We work hard to make the course useful, but we provide it as is. We do not promise any job, income or business result, and we do not promise the site will always be available.
Limit on liability
As far as the law allows, WEG Studio, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the course.
Ending access
You can stop using the course at any time. Refunds follow the refund terms.
We can end your access if you break these terms. We will tell you why by email.
Law and disputes
California law governs these terms. If we cannot settle a disagreement by talking, it goes to the state and federal courts in San Diego County, California.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. We post the new version here with a new date, and we tell enrolled learners by email about any big change.
